Manifesto

The answer is the new shelf.

Every decade, the dominant interface to information changes. Each time, the brands that show up inside the new interface — not next to it — define the era. We are in one of those decades right now. The interface this time is the LLM answer.

When the buyer asks ChatGPT "which is the best ergonomic chair for a tall person who works from home", the answer is a recommendation. The brand named in that recommendation is the brand that gets bought. The brands that do not show up in the answer do not exist in the buyer's consideration. Inventory has never been more concentrated.

This is the moment paid social was in 2009. The moment search marketing was in 2003. A new surface, new mechanics, no five-year veterans. The first specialist firms define the playbook — and the playbook compounds for everyone who builds against it. We want to be one of those firms.

What we are.

A specialist agency. We do three things. We run AI-platform ad campaigns. We consult on them. We teach them. We work exclusively on advertising surfaces inside Large Language Models — beginning with OpenAI Ads, expanding to every LLM ad inventory that ships.

We are remote-first, plain-documents-first, and answer-first. We do not have a portal you have to log in to. We do not have a 40-slide pitch deck. We have a working session, a written document, and a number you can call.

What we will not be.

  • A full-service agency. We do not do brand identity, packaging design, growth-equity advisory, or events for hire.
  • A generalist AI consultancy. We do not deploy enterprise GPTs or build internal RAG chatbots.
  • A measurement vendor. We use the tools that exist; we do not sell our own.
  • An OpenAI partner agency. We are independent and intend to stay that way.
  • A safe option. We will sometimes recommend you do not run AI ads. That is a feature.

How we operate.

  1. We name mechanics, not magic. We will explain the bidding strategy, why we chose it, what it costs. If we cannot explain it in plain English, we will not run it.
  2. We say no. One in four prospective clients leaves the brief with our advice to not work with us — yet, or ever. AI ads are not the answer to every demand-gen problem.
  3. We work in plain documents. No proprietary dashboards. The week ends with a single readable document. The month ends with a working session.
  4. We measure what compounds. CPA, ROAS, frequency, intent quality, citation share. The numbers that move the business, not the numbers that flatter the agency.
  5. We share what we learn. Public canonical guides, free tools, open glossary, weekly newsletter. The thing we are most worried about losing is not our methodology — it is our edge in working out the next one.

What we are betting on.

  • That the LLM answer becomes the dominant commercial-intent surface by 2028.
  • That advertising on LLM surfaces becomes a distinct discipline — like paid social is to search — with its own creative, measurement, and tooling primitives.
  • That independent specialist agencies compound an enduring edge against generalists for at least a decade.
  • That the brands that show up inside the answer in 2026–2027 own their categories through the early 2030s.

If you are betting on the same things — we should talk.
